A Boy Named Moses

Findlay, Gillian (journalist). Guerriero, Linda (director). Davidson, Allya (producer). Ayotte-Thompson, Brigitte (production coordinator). Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (Added Author). Journalist: Findlay, Gillian. (Cast).

Summary: Moses was an international adoption, brought from the rubble of the Liberian civil war to Canada as a four-and-a-half-year-old. He was only five years old when his adoptive parents decided they didn't want him anymore and gave him away to a complete stranger — on the Internet. In this Fifth Estate investigation, Gillian Findlay looks at the unregulated practice of what is euphemistically called “rehoming”. According to Mary Ellen Turpel Lafonde, British Columbia’s Children Advocate, “It's a very comforting way of saying trafficking in children.”
