Sanctuary : Nigerian Students Face Deportation

Summary: For more than 400 days, two Nigerian women, Victoria Ordu and Ihouma Amadi, both students at the University of Regina, avoided the full force of Canadian law by taking sanctuary in a Saskatchewan church. They faced deportation over violating their student visas by briefly working illegally off campus, but supporters, including university officials, don't think the punishment fits the crime.
