Inside Information : Stories from the Hill (Part 1 of 3) [videorecording] / Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Julie Van Dusen of CBC's Ottawa Bureau takes viewers along as she works the "dayside shift", updating her reports on Newsworld, doing live hits and preparing reports. The legendary Norman DePoe was CBC's first star reporter, whose televised tangles with John Diefenbaker presaged a half-century of tension between the CBC and the government of the day, Liberal or Conservative.
