Youth At Risk

Summary: A series of short documentaries profiling three communities and their solutions to the rising tide of youth crime. The first two documentaries explore the community of Malvern, Onatrio, which gained a reputation because of high murder rates. Local residents have developed community strategies to dispel the area’s negative image. The final documentary is a profile of Pathways to Education, a program that helps young people living in Canada’s oldest public housing project, Toronto’s Regent Park. A poignant and revealing look at youth at risk.
