Secret History of 9/11

McKenna, Terence (director). Gagnon, Michelle (producer). Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (Added Author).

Summary: This one-hour documentary examines the road to 9/11, beginning in 1993 with a car bomb attack on the World Trade Center, and traces the tragic path that culminates in the largest terrorist attack in the history of the United States. The program explores the links between the 1993 attack, the bombing of a Philippine airliner, and the growth of al-Qaeda, Osama Bin Laden and other fundamentalist Islamic groups. Interviews and news clips of the events before and after the attack, as well as dramatic re-enactments of the 9/11 terrorist attacks provide a compelling and comprehensive look at 9/11.
