Summary: These days you can find almost anything on the Internet. So it’s not surprising that people who desperately need an organ transplant are also going online. But is looking for a donor on the Web the right thing to do? Some doctors don’t think so, and they are refusing to perform transplant operations using organs from total strangers. In this News and Review story we’ll examine this controversial issue and look at how it affected the lives of two Canadians who went searching for an organ online.
