Mars Invasion : Exploring the Red Planet March 2004

Summary: For the past two months three space probes have been beaming back some amazing pictures of Mars, the mysterious red planet that has fascinated humans throughout the ages. The pictures, taken by a European satellite and two NASA rovers, show a bleak and forbidding landscape. We look at the successes and setbacks of these latest missions to Mars, as they try to solve the mystery of the planet’s past.
