In Toronto, Club Monaco's main man Joseph Mimram has launched Joe Fresh – a quickie line of cheap chic sold at Loblaws and Real Canadian Superstores. In Montreal, the most frantic Fortune Hunters, Stephen Belfer and Monte Perlman open another Crisca, a hot new retail chain that’s got European fashions produced in a fraction of the time.
