Earth Buddy [videorecording] / Canadian Broadcasting Corporation

Summary:

They are young, they are brash and they have made a pile of money: a small group of friends who took an idea and sold it really well. In 1993, Anton Rabie and a couple of friends from business school began manufacturing the Earth Buddy – a sawdust and grass-seed filled novelty that competed with products like Chia Pet. But then, like all true entrepreneurs, they risked everything on one big deal. Did it pay off? In spades.
