Greece urbanization and the environment

Summary: The legacy of ancient cities can inform modern urban challenges and a culture's response to them. This program explores the Greek cities of Patras, Delphi, and Athens, looking at how each one formed, grew, and changed over time. Focusing on Athens as a living, evolving metropolis rather than simply an archaeological site, the video examines the city's answers to its pollution and traffic-congestion problems and how it prepared for the 2004 Olympics.
