The Story of a Passionate Life

Summary: Dunlap's Wikipedia entry is the stuff of legend, says GoUpstate.com and it's easy to see why. Ben Dunlap is a true polymath, whose talents span poetry, opera, ballet, literature, and administration. A Rhodes scholar, Dunlap completed his Ph.D. in English literature at Harvard and is now the president of Wofford College, a small liberal arts school in South Carolina. He has taught classes on a wide range of subjects and is also a writer-producer for a 19-part series entitled The Renaissance. In this TEDTalk, Dunlap tells the story of Sandor Teszler, a Hungarian Holocaust survivor who taught him about passionate living and lifelong learning.
