Summary: After more than a year of negotiations, Canada, the U.S. and Mexico finally have a new trade agreement – the Canada–United States–Mexico Agreement. CUSMA (or USMCA as its named by President Trump) replaces NAFTA and maintains the elimination of many tariffs between the three countries, to facilitate the free flow of goods. But many argue that the Trudeau government had to give up more than it got in the new agreement. We take a look at some of the sticking points in the new deal and how consumers may win or lose.
