Summary: Annie is a young widow trying to raise her family on what Social security provides. She supplements this with small amounts donated by people whom she tries to help. Her gift, or curse is psychic abilities she doesn't completely understand, but has inherited. When she becomes involved in the disappearance of a missing girl, she finds herself in dark areas of the human spirit.
