Farah Alibay : Breaking Ground on the Red Planet March 2021

Summary: Farah Alibay is a Canadian aerospace engineer working at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Her current mission is to help drive the Perseverance rover on the red planet while it goes in search of past life. Alibay, who grew up in Quebec, is not only a top scientist in a male-dominated industry, she’s also a mentor and advocate for all women who are interested in pursuing their dreams in her field. That makes her one of our celebrated women of 2021. Debra Arbec of CBC Montreal had a chance to talk to Alibay while she waited for the Rover to arrive on Mars
