D-Day veterans share their war stories

Summary: D-Day is considered one of the most important and successful operations of the Second World War. It happened on June 6, 1944, on the coast of France in Normandy. About 14,000 Canadian troops arrived on the shores of Juno Beach, alongside other Allied forces, to fight the German army. In this report, three CBC Kids News contributors sat down with Canadian veterans to hear their stories on the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
