Summary: Kimiko Murakami's daughter recounts her family's struggle while living in internment camps after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. The family had a successful farm on Salt Spring Island in the1930s which was then expropriated, with promises of returning it after the war. Although biographical, this video does address the issues of immigration, racism, and internment.
