Single-use plastic, such as water bottles, cutlery and packaging are a huge environmental problem. Trash and microplastics are filling up our oceans. The problem is worldwide and it’s only been getting worse in recent years. CBC Kids News contributor Saba Vahedyousefi explores some ways plastic harms our environment with help from conservation biologist Juan José Alava.
